Team White Rock / South Surrey

Team White Rock / South Surrey is comprised of local perinatal professionals, community service providers, people with lived experience of perinatal mental health challenges and community members who care.

We are coming together to raise funds and awareness to improve perinatal mental health, both in our own community and on a national level.  We hope to honor Flora and show her family an ongoing legacy of efforts toward positive and lasting change.

Each of us has our personal "why" for our participation, while our collaborative "why" is that we truly want to see every parent and baby/child have the opportunity to become the best version of themselves.  We want people in our community to see they have a fabric of support and places/people they can go to for help - that they are not alone.

We are excited to "connect the dots" across the country of communities who are doing the same.  When we are brought together by purpose, the world begins to feel more like a small village - something many of us can appreciate right now!
