SIRCH’s vision is to have thriving communities where each person feels connected, supported and encouraged. SIRCH identifies community needs and responds with innovative services, programs and partnerships that support individuals, families and communities. A unique, mission-driven organization, SIRCH has created over 40 programs and services to better Haliburton County and other communities.

About SIRCH Community Services

SIRCH is an incorporated non profit organization with charitable status. The legal name is Supportive Initiative for Residents in the County of Haliburton. It became shortened to SIRCH quite quickly. SIRCH also stands for So It Really Can Happen! Founded in 1989 to identify and meet gaps in social and health services, over the past 25 years we have developed dozens of community-based programs and services in Haliburton County (Ontario, Canada) and also expanded to provide select services internationally. Some of the programs we developed have, over the years, been divested or closed. Current programs and services are evaluated regularly to make sure they continue to be responsive, needed and effective. We are making a difference!
