In late 2020 David was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. A year later we found ourselves at the U of A hospital when he became jaundiced, and the suspicion of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis arose. In April 2022 the new diagnosis was confirmed. In March 2023 we were back at the hospital dealing with a bacterial infection caused by the stoppage of bile flow in the bile ducts. As his wife, these events left me feeling worried and helpless.
Please help me raise funds for PSC research. Funds raised will help PSC Partners Canada in the search for treatments and a cure for PSC, a rare liver disease. Your support will go to Canadian charity PSC Partners Seeking a Cure Canada and a receipt for CRA income tax purposes will be provided.
K83.01 is the code used in the medical world to identify PSC. I am participating in the third annual WALK83.01 for PSC! My goal is to walk at least 83.01 miles (133.6 km), by the end of the campaign on 31 August 2024.
