The Look of...Dancing with Parkinson's

This year, Dancing with Parkinson’s annual fundraiser is at Meridian Hall in collaboration with the Mark Morris Dance Group!  

In 2024, DWP celebrates 16 years of dancing with people living with Parkinson’s disease and seniors. United by a common thread and connected by moments of joy and compassion, we are woven together through the transformative power of dance. On January 19, 2024, we celebrate the universal language of movement, the love of community and the boundless potential of the human spirit.

Please sign up to become a fundraiser or make a donation so that Dancing with Parkinson’s may continue to offer free dance classes and artistic experiences 365 days a year for people living with Parkinson’s and seniors from around the world. 

Proceeds from our annual fundraising events keep our classes free of charge for all who wish to experience the physical, emotional and social benefits of dance.

Since 2020, DWP has been offering free daily online dance classes every day of the year, and is introducing new in-person locations across Canada. Dancing with Parkinson’s is embarking on a national expansion so that those who need it the most may experience the transformative power of dance, from wherever they are. 

Join our Annual Fundraiser event on January 19th!

On January 19, 2024, we will gather for a very special workshop on the Mark Morris Dance Group's production of "The Look of Love", presented by TO Live. This event is the culmination of our fundraising efforts, and a celebration of the universal language of movement, the connections formed through dance, and the boundless potential of the human spirit.

“The Look of Love” is a highly-anticipated performance set to the music of Burt Bacharach, and inspired by choreography created and performed by the internationally renowned Mark Morris Dance Group. It was this very New York City-based dance group and their groundbreaking Dance for PD® classes that, in 2007, inspired DWP's Founder and CEO Sarah Robichaud to launch DWP!

We are thrilled to create magic once again with the MMDG, and to celebrate “The Look of Love” with the DWP community. We welcome you to join us online for this very special opportunity! 

Join us on Zoom at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024. 

A Zoom link will be provided 24 hours prior to the event for all who have donated or created a peer-to-peer fundraising page.
