You hear stories of life altering events, but you never think it can happen to you...
Last February 2024, I woke up at 2am to a sharp pain in my chest, among other symptoms, and all signs pointed to a heart attack. At my age, it seemed unlikely, but the diagnosis confirmed a SCAD heart attack - Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection.
Recovery has been a journey, and I owe much of my progress to the wonderful team at COACH. Their care and support have been invaluable.
Kelowna is fortunate to have a cardiac rehabilitation center, and I'm grateful for it. ❤️
