The ALS WALK STRONG 2024

Since 2016, my family and friends have supported us raising money for this challenging disease ALS.  We are fortunate to have a very hard working and dedicated staff leading the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, a team led by Kim Carter and a wonderful group of compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable group of dedicated persons with making sure they are there to help patients and their families deal with the many facets of living with ALS.  In my opinion and experience, the gold standard of our regional ALS Society is maintaining an active equipment loan program, getting the equipment out to those who need it and being understanding souls of the challenges and difficulties pALS and cALS (person with ALS = pALS) and (Caregiver to those with ALS = cALS).   Each and every donation helps multiple people suffering ALS and helps maintain acquiring safe and good quality equipment to help as many as possible.  The annual ALS Walk Strong meets are an essential part of raising money for the equipment loan program and raising awareness about ALS here in our local neighborhoods, villages, towns and cities in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
