What's the jist?
I will be trekking (walking, running, and/or biking) - the entire river valley this summer!
Support Boyle Street Community Service's mission in ending chronic homelessness by funding one (or more) of my kilometres at $10/km. I will trek a total of 100km, the treks will include every area of the river valley (as opposed to every trail) within the ring road, in a total of 19 routes (mostly loops from bridge to bridge). The funds will support Boyle Street's meaningful work in providing essential services to folks experiencing homelessness and poverty in Edmonton.
How long will you be fundraising for? Fundraiser opens today (April 12) and my first walk is tomorrow morning! I plan to have the routes all done for the end of September. The fundraiser closes on October 4th.
How can we follow along? I will be tracking my treks on Strava, follow my account to stay in the know with my progress!
