At AlumnUS, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their financial situation. As a local student-led organization, our mission is to support high school students on their educational journey by providing accessible, high-quality resources that foster academic growth and personal development. We aim to break down the financial and academic barriers that too often limit students’ access to essential educational support. 

Currently, Alumnus offers free weekly tutoring in math and science at the Central Library, prioritizing students who face academic or financial challenges. But our vision extends beyond the classroom—we strive to provide a holistic support system by connecting students with volunteer opportunities, university guest speakers, and skill-building workshops, all designed to empower them as lifelong learners. These initiatives not only strengthen students academically but also enhance their future job or post-secondary applications.

In line with our commitment to supporting youth, we are excited to announce a fundraising initiative for YESS (Youth Empowerment & Support Services). Our goal is to raise funds that will directly contribute to removing obstacles faced by students across the province, ensuring they have the resources to pursue their aspirations. With continued support through our tutoring program and upcoming public events, Alumnus will remain dedicated to connecting our community and uplifting the students who need it most.
