Join the Woodland Cultural Centre for our September Truth and Reconciliation Presentation happening on the 25th at 6:00pm. Your donation will help support our education department to create and deliver virtual programming at the Woodland Cultural Centre. We want to continue to deliver the highest quality programs centered on a Hodinohsho:ni worldview, celebrating, and sharing Indigenous cultures, languages, and art.

This comprehensive presentation covers topics from the Imperial context, Canada's Indigenous Policy, the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement, to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

The Woodland Cultural Centre is a First Nations run educational and cultural centre located on the grounds of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School in Brantford, Ontario. The Centre was established in October 1972, under the direction of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians upon the closure of the Mohawk Institute Residential School. As a Centre of excellence, their mission is to protect, promote, interpret, and present the Hodinohsho:ni worldview.
