Join us Monday March 13 through Friday March 17 for guided activities using the Scanning Electron Microscope.
WCC has partnered with McMaster University on a very special project from the Canadian Center for Electron Microscopy to feature a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) in the museum gallery.
In collaboration with the CCEM, we are offering participants the chance to examine sage, cedar, and tobacco samples. A SEM scans a focused beam of electrons over a sample surface to create a magnified image. SEM images can provide insight into the functions and adaptations of the plant.
Sessions run from 10am - 12pm Monday to Friday over March Break. Book your spot as space is limited!
