This November, you can help women and children move beyond violence during Woman Abuse Prevention Month by joining in our Voices Empower campaign!
Show your support Saturday, November 19th and join us in person or virtually for Voices Empower: Walk to Break the Silence. Starting at 11am, we will be walking roundtrip from Uptown Square in Waterloo to Carl Zehr Town Square in Downtown Kitchener. This 6km walk is a time to reflect and honour the women who are killed every six days by an intimate partner.
We encourage you to get a team together, wear your best purple outfit, and walk to show your support. It’s crucial that we continue having conversations about domestic violence, while also raising awareness and funds for those experiencing domestic violence in our community.
Please consider donating here or creating a fundraiser of your own! Encourage family and friends to join us November 19th, as we walk 6 km to break the silence!
