Get ready for an evening of song and celebration with Universal Gospel Choir. Featuring 5 new virtual choir videos, never before seen concert footage, and performances from special guests Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir and Aboriginal women's ensemble M'Girl Music and hosted live by Artistic Director, Lonnie Delisle, and local celebrity, Dawn Pemberton.

Donations in the month of June will be matched by a generous anonymous benefactor - double the value of your donation this month! PLUS every dollar donated through CanadaHelps is also one entry for the chance to win 20,000 for your favourite charity.

With the recent announcement of BC's 4 step restart plan, we are finally saying "goodbye pandemic!" with one final virtual concert. The summer solstice has always represented new beginnings and is considered the highest point of energy in the year. After what has felt for many like the longest, darkest year of our lives, this year's solstice marks another step towards easing restrictions and the anticipated return to 'normal' life.

Since it's founding in 1985, UGC has used it's platform to spread messages of hope, justice and inclusion and sing music that inspires and uplifts the human spirit. This year's "Be A Light" is no exception. From original arrangements of pop anthems, "A Beautiful Noise" by Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlisle, to old school gospel, "Ride on, King Jesus" and everything in between - this concert will bring anyone to their feet and dancing in their living room.
