The SWC: Built by the Community, for the Community

The Summit Wellness Centre is an ambitious, community-driven project proudly rooted in Coboconk and the northern region of Kawartha Lakes.

Our goal is simple and powerful: to ensure local and seasonal residents have reliable, accessible health and wellness services without having to travel long distances.

We are revitalizing the historic Coboconk Train Station, preserving a meaningful local landmark while expanding it into a modern hub that will offer:

- Family doctors, nurse practitioners, and after-hours care

- Dental, physiotherapy, massage, and other wellness services

- Mental-health supports and community programming

- Meeting spaces for outreach, seniors’ activities, exercise and recreation, and social connection

This project is made possible by extraordinary community spirit — more than 1,500 supporters have already helped raise over $1.6 million. But we still need your help to equip and furnish the SWC.
