Walking for Wayne

My dad Wayne spent alot of time in hospice before passing on August 15, 2018. Initially he was in hospice for ten days to help with pain relief related to his cancer before coming home, he returned a month later and spent his last thirty three days surrounded by loved ones at hospice, my mother never left his side that entire time. Throughout that time we felt safe and welcomed by the staff at hospice. Wayne had such a love for life, before cancer you would find him jumping from planes, doing obstacle courses for fun (with no training, I might add), and riding his motorcycles. Or you would find him making puppets, playing guitar or exploring a museum or the trails around pg with his gaggle of children. He was a wonderful husband, father, foster parent, and friend. This year I would like to honor his memory and raise some money for hospice by walking 100k with my mom, his wife and best friend. I think Wayne would've be up to the 100k challenge and so are we ♡
