This is both my fundraiser baby - I am the Fund Development, Advocacy, and Communications Lead at Porchlight - and a cause I care greatly about.
I’ve been in therapy for 3 years and have been diagnosed with ADHD so having access to affordable, regular therapy is a matter of life and death for me. A lot of people who need mental health supports don’t get the care they deserve from our 2 tier health care system. Finding the right therapist is hard. The team at Porchlight is great at all these things and this fundraiser will help us do more things. We are very community focused and working to build a caring Cambridge where everyone knows they belong. Please give me your money!
Also, you should donate to me so that I can beat my boss at raising the most between the two of us. He will have to buy me fancy food if I win.
