Welcome to the Northern Lights Health Foundation's 6th Annual Hospital Bed Races presented by Birch Mountain Enterprises!

The Bed Races are a fun and entertaining family event, pitting teams of local businesses, industry, sporting clubs, friends and anyone (18+) who want to race to win the coveted Hospital Bed Races Golden Bedpan Trophy and bragging rights, in support of local healthcare.

The event takes place in the upper parking lot of Snye Park, on September 23, 2023. Teams comprised of 4 members; 4 pushing the bed with a 150 pound 'sandbag bedbug' on it, will race 50-meter sprints to the finish line while dressed in themed costumes and/or corporate gear. Races are executed in randomly drawn head-to-head heats. All teams are guaranteed two races with the fastest teams advancing. The beds and bedbugs are supplied. In addition to the fastest team, prizes will be awarded for Team Spirit, Most Funds Raised Individual and Most Funds Raised Team.
