Red Shoe Cocktail Party at Osler Bluff

My Friend’s House offers a 24-hour support line, emergency shelter, children and youth programming, therapeutic counselling, wellness and legal support and above all … safety. Half the annual operating budget for these services is funded by government support, with the balance through community support and fundraising as a registered charity.  

 The Fun Part: The Red Shoe “Walk” is the annual awareness and fundraising event for My Friend's House. The Red Shoe represents the challenges women under the threat of violence and abuse endure … being “in her shoes” shows our commitment to end violence against women. 

No actual walks are necessary for this crowd, but donning the red shoes will provide some fantastic photo-ops! Don’t own red pumps? No problem, we will have lots of pairs in all sizes at the party if you are inclined. The party is on us, we just ask that you make a donation to My Friend’s House in support of all the great work they do. We will also personally match all donations made for this event up to $10,000, so go ahead – make us pay! We are looking forward to gathering with some of our Osler friends once again.
