Our Mission

LGBT YouthLine is a Queer, Trans, Two-Spirit youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (29 and under) across Ontario. We do this by:

• Providing anonymous peer support and referrals;
• Training youth to provide support to other youth; and
• Providing resources so youth can make informed decisions.

About Lesbian Gay Bi Trans YouthLine

Since 1994, the Lesbian Gay Bi Trans YouthLine has been providing peer support to 2SLGBTQ+ youth in all of Ontario. The YouthLine was created by community members who recognized that there was a lack of support services for 2SLGBTQ+ youth in dealing with the specific challenges that they face. The goal of the YouthLine is to provide information and accessible peer support to alleviate isolation and let youth know that they are not alone.

•A volunteer-driven, registered charity, providing an Ontario-wide, free, anonymous  peer support service for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, 2-spirited, queer and questioning youth in Ontario. 

•Anonymous and confidential Helpline service operated by volunteer youth and for youth 29 years of age and under

•Operates Sunday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
