We believe that every pet deserves access to veterinary care
For those struggling financially, the cost of a sick or injured pet can be devastating. Without help, they face unbearable choices. The Farley Foundation helps pets receive essential veterinary care and preserves the human-animal bond.
The Farley Foundation subsidizes the cost of veterinary care for families in Ontario who are struggling financially. Together with veterinary clinics across the province, our funding provides help with vet bills and keeps people and pets together.

Our mission: We support the relationship between pets and people by generating and allocating resources to subsidize veterinary care for Ontario families in need.
On Jan. 9, 2002, a cat named Willie had surgery to remove bladder stones at an Ottawa veterinary clinic. Willie’s owner was an Ontario Disability Support Payment recipient, and they became the first to receive funding from Ontario Veterinary Medical Association’s newly formed pet charity organization, the Farley Foundation.
From this humble beginning, the Farley Foundation has grown to fund care for more than 1,500 pets annually, ranging from cats and dogs to horses, chinchillas, birds and reptiles. With more than 20 years of service, we’re one of the most successful pet charities in Canada.
