Bike the Night 2024

We are so excited to bring back Bike the Night for the first time since 2019! This year, things will be a bit different. Up to 1000 participants will pedal 10km along the iconic Vancouver Seawall. Join us on Saturday, September 14th at David Lam Park to raise funds for HUB Cycling’s work by either purchasing a ticket, or fundraising leading up to the event.

Before the ride starts, enjoy a pre-ride festival with live music, games, food trucks, bike tune-ups, bike decorating, and opportunities to connect with community partners. Celebrate the joys of cycling with your community while learning all about biking at night. Participate to win prizes from Cirque du Soleil, DoorDash, and more!

Register now, space is limited. This year we will be having a smaller event two heats of 500 participants each cycling along the Seawall.

Event Details

Join HUB Cycling on Saturday, September 14th! Fundraise and ride with us on a ~10km ride along the Seawall with hundreds of brightly lit bikes to celebrate cycling at night.

5:00 Pre-ride celebration

6:30pm First heat (recommended for families with early bedtimes)

8:30pm Second heat

How much are the tickets and fundraising targets for participants?

To participate in the Bike the Night, participants can either purchase a ticket or fundraise a recommended minimum of $100 (fundraising donations are eligible for tax receipts). You can fundraise individually or you can join a team of fundraisers. Teams are recommended to average a minimum of $100 per team member. For example, if you have a 4-person team, your target will be at least $400.

Buy now! The first 100 tickets will be $18. The next 200 tickets will be $22. The final 200 tickets will be $25. Last-minute tickets will be $35. Get your tickets today!

Prizes

Another great reason to join in on the Bike the Night fun is to win exciting prizes. Everyone who purchases a ticket will be entered to win a grand prize, but fundraisers and fundraising teams will also be entered to win additional prizes!

The first 10 fundraisers to raise $50 will receive a FREE HUB Cycling T-shirt

The first 4 fundraisers to raise $150 will receive a gift card for FREE Du/er pants
All fundraisers will be entered for a chance to win a $250 DoorDash Gift Card
