Hospice Prince Edward is a non-profit, charitable organization with a two-fold purpose:
- To assist individuals, their families and caregivers facing a life-limiting illness

Hospice Prince Edward is a community resource for palliative care, respite services, caregiver education, wellness and support, and grief and bereavement support for all ages.
About Us
A life limiting illness is not just a physical diagnosis. The hospice philosophy involves a commitment to address the physical, emotional, spiritual and information needs of people with a life limiting illness. It also involves a commitment to care for family and close friends during the progress of an illness. Everyone providing care needs to be able to receive support. We have professionally trained staff and volunteers who will be able to assist you. We believe that, wherever possible, individuals should have the ability to choose to die where they want to die.
How We Are Funded
22% of our funding comes from Home and Community Care Support Services. The balance of our funding comes from Memorial Donations, fundraising, and third party events where people make us their Charity of Choice. All Hospice services are free of charge to the client and their families.
