Hospice Huronia has a hospice home called Tomkins House which provides end-of-life care for residents in North Simcoe and bereavement support to community members who are dealing with loss.
Deb personally accessed much needed bereavement supports offered through Hospice and found the supports essential to her grief journey. The compassion and understanding offered to residents and their families is exceptional . It is truly a place of dignity for all.
This special place has 50% of their expenses funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, the rest comes from generous donors and fundraisers.
