About Chris Goyer

Chris was an amazing individual who lived his life to the absolute fullest. He had such an infectious positivity and charismatic charm that was unlike any other. He had the ability to become friends with anybody, and he was loved universally anywhere he went. His passing has left a tremendous impact on everyone that was lucky enough to get to know him throughout his lifetime.

One thing in the world that Chris was super passionate about was the game of hockey. From childhood road hockey games on the streets of Mississauga, to lighting up the ASHL in Oakville and the GTA, Chris was the ultimate player. When a friend needed someone to help out and run drills for kids in the MHL, Chris was the first to say he'd be there. The kids he helped teach would always ask if Chris would be coming the next week, because they loved his positive attitude and how much he cared about making sure they had a fun time on the ice.

Chris loved sharing his passion of hockey with everyone, and we know that he would love the opportunity to give back and donate to such a great cause like Hockey 4 Youth, enabling more young people to enjoy the game he loved so much.

Thank you Chris, for the values you stood for and the amazing spirit you have shared with us all.

All preset donation amounts have incorporated #44 in honour of Chris who played defense and wore this number. His favorite player is LA Kings defenceman Drew Doughty who wears #8.
