When the pandemic hit in 2020 I was forced to find alternate means for maternal mental health support and met an amazing group of women through the Life with Baby support group online. We call ourselves Awesome Moms and this group of women have become my closest confidantes during a tough time. We talk everyday about the small things like what to feed our babies to the big challenges we face as new parents and how to deal with them.
Every new mom deserves the resources and support necessary to get through the struggles faced as a new parent, especially as it pertains to mental health but not everyone can afford proper support so I want to do my small part in helping new moms receive the care they need.
