We are BACK and Welcome to Year 6 of the 24 Hour Video Game Marathon!
Join us on April 24/25 as we try to raise funds for the animals in our care!
From 9 a.m. - 9 a.m. GEARS and supporters will be playing video games for 24 hours straight. It's not as easy (or fun as it sounds), but every dime goes to the animals in our care!
Each donation of $20 or more will get you an automatic tax receipt! Not only that, but for every (non-Anonymous) $5 donated, you will get an entry to win some great prizes!
When donating, make sure you pick which team you're donating to. Otherwise your donation will go to the general pool (which still helps the the animals, it just doesn't get added to a Team's total)
Here are the RULES:
9 a.m. on April 24 until 9 a.m. on April 25 you must be playing or creating video games... it doesn't matter which game you choose to play or the platform as long as you are live streaming the whole time. If you are choosing an older platform where you can't live stream via twitch a webcam would suffice. Please provide us with the links to your live streams as soon as possible as we do post them on our main FB page and Liz (GEARS President) and Tara do actually monitor the live streams and occasionally will smack talk some people over twitch chat just for funsies. Try to keep food and bathroom breaks to 15-20 minutes.
We will have live feeds available to follow us that will be posted as teams sign up.
