We are thrilled to once again present the Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre’s Hometown Heroes Children’s Charity Golf Classic, proudly hosted by the Krista McCarville Curling Rink in support of the George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation.

Mark your calendars for July 31, 2025, and get ready to tee off at the Fort William Golf and Country Club. This beloved annual event brings together golfers from across our community for a day of fun, camaraderie, and making a difference for kids in need.

Here’s what’s in store for the day:

8:00 AM: Breakfast, registration, and team photos

10:00 AM: Shotgun start

11:00 AM: Lunch available on the course.

5:00 PM: Networking, dinner, silent auction & live auction

Whether you’re sinking putts or bidding on incredible auction items, your participation helps create brighter futures for children and youth across Northwestern Ontario. We can’t wait to see you on the course!

George Jeffrey Children's Foundation (GJCF) is a registered charity, officially incorporated in 2004. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who encourage and administer charitable gifts to ensure that George Jeffrey Children's Centre is able to fulfill its mission of enriching children's lives. The Foundation's continued goal is to raise the necessary funds to support the efforts of George Jeffrey Children's Centre. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and services to help babies, children and youth in Thunder Bay and throughout Northwestern Ontario living with physical, developmental, and social needs. The efforts of George Jeffrey Children's Foundation are made possible through the generous contributions of individuals, groups and businesses who share a commitment to provide a better future for the children and youth of our community and Northwestern Ontario. We are helping children reach their greatest potential.
