Aperçu
This year see Rouge Park from the seat of canoe or kayak with a paddle in your hand!
Enjoy the slow moving, beautiful Rouge River as it meanders through Carolinian forest and marsh. Keep your eyes open for beautiful birds, like the Great Blue Heron or the blazing orange of the Baltimore Oriole. Revel in the joy of a gorgeous day on the water, raising money to protect the watershed – and all accessible by Go Transit and TTC!
Get to know Rouge Park from the river, a unique opportunity. CPAWS Wildlands League is working to keep nature first in law for the new Rouge National Urban Park.
WHO: CPAWS Wildlands League, a leading not-for-profit charity working to protect Ontario’s wilderness, including Rouge Park. We help connect people to nature.
WHAT: Our 3rd annual Paddle the Rouge, a peer-to-peer fund and awareness raising event, connecting youth, families and corporations to nature in their own backyard.
FOR YOUTH: For those under 18 and new to paddling, join us for Learn to Paddle at 11am. We want to teach 50 youth paddlers this year! Learn to paddle for FREE. More info.
