Let's Walk Across Canada (6,818 kms) For Pulmonary Fibrosis

Canada is vast, but so is the heart of the pulmonary fibrosis community. Join the Clarke Family and friends across Canada this September to walk in support of a loved one with pulmonary fibrosis, or in memory of one who has passed, or just to support this worthy cause – in your yard, around the block or in one of our country’s beautiful parks. You can walk a little or a lot throughout the month to show your support – just remember to record your kilometres walked so we can reach our goal of "walking across Canada”: 6818 kms!

How To Log Your Clarke Walk Kms:

1. Register at hopebreatheshere.com.

2. Sign in to the CPFF Portal where you will log your kms. After you register, you'll receive a welcome email. Click on the CPFF Portal button and sign in to log your kms.

3. On the CPFF Portal, click the "Log Your Clarke Walk Kms" image to log kms.

Who are the Clarkes? After having lost her Grandpa Chris to pulmonary fibrosis in 2007, then witnessing several other family members fall victim to the disease (including cousin Rayyan who was diagnosed at age one and is currently on oxygen 24/7), Abbie Clarke knew she had to do something to help. This remarkable young woman was the driving force behind the first Clarke Walk for CPFF.

Let’s show the world that Hope Breathes Here. This year, with the added challenge of COVID-19 making large gatherings too risky for those living with lung disease, CPFF is asking Canadians from coast to coast to join Abbie in an accessible, virtual event throughout the month of September. The Clarke Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis is at the heart of CPFF Hope Breathes Here, raising awareness, hope, and funds for the pulmonary fibrosis community. Show your support to Clarke Walk participants by making a pledge in support of an individual or a team. Money raised will help support research, patient, and caregiver services. In the words of CPFF founder Robert Davidson, “Because breathing should never be hard work” ^©
