Princess Leia

Team Princess Leia is honoured to be involved in this effort to raise funds for CMHA.

We chose our team name because not only is Princess Leia's character a beacon of light in dark times, but the actor Carrie Fischer was also forthright and outspoken about addiction and mental health, which helped to drive conversations about those issues with compassion and creativity. 

We all experience mental unwellness at different points in our lives. Let's all build towards communities that support one another through these experiences with love and empathy.
