Every year in early September we honour the Canadian firefighters who have lost their lives due to the job they love. We celebrate these firefighters with a ceremony where their names go on the wall in Ottawa at the fallen firefighter memorial to help never forget them. This will be my 6th time doing the ride from Hamilton to Ottawa. This ride means so much to me but as the biggest fundraiser for the Canadian Fallen firefighter foundation it means even more to the families of firefighters who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
