Move for Mentoring

As an organization that is committed to providing youth with consistent mentoring relationships and the tools to pursue healthy lifestyles, we need to be there for them now and in the days to come.

Move for Mentoring is a virtual challenge and fundraising initiative hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley to promote physical activity, community engagement, and awareness of our mentoring programs. 

How you can get involved:

PARTICIPANT:As a participant, you can partake in the Move for Mentoring challenge and raise funds on behalf of our agency. In return, you will promise your donors a physical challenge based on the amount of money you raise. For example, I will commit to doing one push-up for every $1 I raise for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley!

Participants will be an advocate for our organization and our Move for Mentoring initiative. We ask...

DONOR: As a donor, you can select any participant you wish to support and contribute to their fundraising efforts! At the end of the month, you will see the participants fulfill their physical challenge commitments based on their final fundraising numbers! Our agency will be sharing participant's Move for Mentoring journeys on our social media pages! Please know, all proceeds are directly invested in our mentoring programs to support our ongoing growth and development in our community. 

Timeline

Move for Mentoring will begin on April 1st and will conclude on April 30th! Participants will fundraise throughout the entire month and will be asked to fulfill their physical challenge on the last day of the month!
