If you are not affected by Autism, someone you know or love is. We all know someone, either directly or indirectly, and some of us are deeply connected to someone with ASD. Living with a person with ASD affects the entire family, and meeting the complex needs of a person with ASD can put families under a great deal of stress. Whether emotional, financial and sometimes even physical stress, the reality is that it's challenging. Although also very rewarding to watch ASD individuals thrive, families living with ASD can benefit greatly from the various resources offered by Autism Connections. Respite care can give parents and other family caregivers a needed break and help maintain family well-being.
