'Road to Recovery' is a fun walk in support of men in recovery in our community from the Red Deer Dream Centre on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at CrossRoads Church. The walk will be 1 KM for individuals, or 7 KM for Teams (5+). Participant goals for individuals is $50 minimum or $10 minimum for children. Waivers can be signed onsite. Water bottles will be provided. Don't be scared to get Creative with your team!
A FREE pancake breakfast for participants and check-in begins at 10:00 AM. Walk runs from 11:00 noon to 12:00 Noon.
As an entirely community-led initiative, the Dream Centre raised $1.4 million to renovate a former night club in the downtown area of Red Deer into a 40-bed residential addiction treatment facility. Lives are already being changed! But there is still so much more to be done. As a local initiative, fueled and funded from the heart by those who care, we depend on your continued support to meet our annual operating budget and continue our life-changing work.
Signing up as a walk participant provides a bed, a meal, clothing, and hope for the future for men entering recovery in our community. Your support helps the Dream Centre to bring freedom and healing to individuals and allow them to become productive members of our community.
