Support Beirut Explosion Relief Efforts

Beirut is facing a state of emergency after an explosion in the city’s port has killed more than 200 people and injured an estimated 5,000 people. Homes have been flattened and up to 300,000 people are now homeless according to Lebanon’s health minister. Hospitals in the area are overwhelmed as they care for thousands injured by the blast and emergency crews continue to search for people unaccounted for and feared dead by their loved ones. Facing utter devastation from the blast, survivors are also facing an economic crisis, fears of COVID-19, and political turmoil in Lebanon, making matters even more dire.
