Support Hospices During COVID-19

As Canada continues to grapple with COVID-19, hospices across the country are continuing to work around the clock to care for their patients in the final days of their life. Due to COVID-19 and the social distancing measures that have taken place, many hospices have had to stop visitors from entering their doors to stop the spread of the virus. This means that families are not able to be with their loved ones to cherish the remaining time they have together. This challenge has placed new demands on hospices to use technology to connect families and friends with their loved ones in the care of a local hospice.
