WIC Recovery From the Fire

On December 31, 2024 a devastating structural fire destroyed a good portion of the historic boardwalk in Telegraph Cove.  The Whale Interpretive Centre and its amazing collection of marine mammal skeletons and educational resources did not survive this fire.  

A united front of support from the board of directors, surrounding communities and encouragement worldwide has given the WIC hope and the desire to rebuild along with the community of Telegraph Cove.  Thank you to each and everyone who has offered support and is willing stand with us to make a new WIC in this new year.  Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly fund the rebuilding process.
