UNIVERSITY for UKRAINE (#U4U)

Months into its unprovoked invasion, Russian forces continue to systematically destroy Ukrainian cities and lives, unfolding a humanitarian disaster on an unprecedented scale. More than half of Ukrainian families have been separated, with five million Ukrainian refugees driven abroad and more than ten million people displaced internally. The scale of the societal impact is staggering. Just imagine every third Canadian displaced and jobless, and every family from coast to coast torn apart and grieving.

University for Ukraine (U4U) is a humanitarian grassroots fundraising initiative by students, staff, and faculty from the University of Waterloo aimed to show our solidarity and provide relief for the victims of the war in Ukraine through major official charities in Canada.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said publicly he is betting on the world losing interest in helping Ukraine. We hope you will join us in proving him wrong.

Individual donations can be made to any dedicated humanitarian program listed below, each of which has established presence in Ukraine. An immediate charitable donation receipt will be issued by the hosting platform to each donor.
