Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR) is a registered, no-kill charity powered by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia. Our vision is

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

TCR relies on volunteers to foster cats in their homes until a cat lover adopts them. Having a network of foster homes allows every cat in our care to be part of someone’s home.

It gives a rescued cat a chance to adapt to living with a family, sometimes with other cats, dogs and/or children.

On average we have over 300 cats in foster care at any given time.
