The Rainbow Connection was a group of friends, lead by Mr. Gay Canada 2019, who came together to assist an LGBTQ person to seek refuge in Canada.

"We are grateful to live in Canada because we have the ability to live and love in a safe and supportive community. We are sponsoring a person whose life is in danger because of who his is. Not only is he living in poor conditions, but he has experienced violence and does not feel safe.

The money we raise will assist this person set up a new life in Canada. It will go towards food, housing, transportation, personal health... anything and everything he needs to live a full life."
