Fundraiser by 22 PUSH-UP Challenge Team!
Did you know that in the USA, 22 Veterans take their own lives every day?
Although in CANADA the statistics are not as staggering, many of our BRAVE servicemen and women who have donned the uniform of the Canadian Armed Forces struggle to deal with their experinces during their tours in conflict zones.
Many end up losing their fight with the mental demons and it is true that Canada has lost more soldiers to suicide in recent years than we lost in combat in Afghanistan.
This simply is not acceptable!
Four (4) proud Canadians from Ottawa decided it was time to make a difference and created the "22 PUSH UPs for 22 DAYS CHALLENGE" and partnered with Wounded Warriors Canada to bring awareness.
We NEED you to nominate someone and challenge them to do 22 push ups for days, as well as make a minimum $22 donation and have them post their videos on social media with the link to this page to encourage others to join the FIGHT!
A quote from one of the many we support:
"As a veteran with PTSD and a survivor from a suicide attempt, I know we as Canadians can make a difference! By supporting this campaign, you can show your solidarity with our military members, veterans, first responders and their families. Agree to do 22 Push-Ups – Everyday, For 22 Days – and you can not only get in shape but also honour those who sacrifice everything for this country and show that they are not alone!"
