The Toronto Traditional Mass Society - Una Voce Toronto is a Catholic lay association established to promote the Traditional Latin Mass and Gregorian chant in the Archdiocese of Toronto. We are a chapter of Una Voce Canada in Vancouver, Canada's member of the Foederatio Internationalis Una Voce (FIUV).
Abbé Joseph Heppelle is the eldest of eight children from a home-schooled family here in the Archdiocese of Toronto in the rural northwest of the Archdiocese. He grew up serving at the Altar for the Traditional Roman Liturgy for the priest who started it all here, the late Reverend Father Liam Gavigan. He is studying for the Catholic priesthood at the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest at the Seminary of St. Philip Neri in Gricigliano, Italy. Abbé Heppelle has now been ordained a Deacon and most recently served in Africa and is now in Ireland.
This is the fifth year that we have assisted in fundraising for Abbé Heppelle, the third here on CanadaHelps. Seminary costs are expensive and is still required of him as Deacon.
Please give consideration to donating for this young-man's education as he prepares to serve Jesus Christ, Sovereign Priest and His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and the community of faithful which belong to Her. Please pray for Reverend Heppelle that he will be ordained soon in 2018. He remembers all of his benefactors at his daily Mass and acknowledges all contributors by letter.
