Saving the birds

We are walking, cycling and stair climbing the equivalent distance and elevation from Tofino, BC to St. John's NFL. We are cycling and walking for the distance, and climbing stairs to help cover the elevation gain. Each day we will track how far we have cycled or walked, plus how many metres we climbed in hills and stairs. As we arrive at different places will we have a zoom date with people who live there to say "Yay, we made it to your town!" We are also going to learn about the provincial and national parks we pass through, such as Glacier National Park and Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park. We chose these two charities (Birds Canada and OWL), because we want to raise awareness about birds and how we should protect our land.

The route we have chosen is approximately 8000 km, so we have set our fundraising goal at $8000 to be $1 per km.
