Save ACAS QAY

As it nears the end of 2015, ACAS is gearing up for another full year of programming. It’s been a fruitful but challenging year as we worked to keep our Queer Asian Youth (QAY) program afloat in the absence of stable funding. Thanks to our many volunteers and supporters, ACAS is proud to have successfully produced our Miss ACAS event over the summer, enabling us to secure QAY for the time being. Yet it remains critical to keep the momentum going to ensure that QAY will have adequate funding moving forward.

The impact of the program is real; QAY continues to be an indispensable resource for LGBTQ Asian youth who feel the benefits in their personal growth, outlook, and well being. However, without ongoing funding, the future of the program is at stake.

There are two ways that we are asking for help to sustain the QAY program now:

1) Donate to our digital crowdfunding campaign active until November 30, 2015.

2) Join us for our upcoming QAY Talent Showcase + Movie Night. Taking place this Trans Day of Remembrance on Friday, November 20th, we would like to come together to share with you a series of performances by our talented QAY members and a screening of the film ‘Beautiful Boxer.’ Tickets will be available on Eventbrite (click the link below) or at the door for $10.
