Thank you for supporting Triadventure 2019, The Finale!

All of the money raised supports the Nikibasika Development Program, which provides a home and long-term education for orphaned and vulnerable youth in Kasese, Uganda.  Nikibasika means “it is possible” – and over the 12 years of the program, we have seen amazing stories happen.

There were originally 52 children and youth in the project, which is focused on helping these young adults become self-sustaining leaders in their communities. Each participant is supported with formal education beyond secondary school, and more important, with leadership development, career guidance, global and human rights awareness.  

Each young person also participates in a team where they create and lead a community-development project that helps people in need in their local area. This year, the students have created and led projects to help street kids, the sick and the elderly in their community, paying school fees and other supports with their own pocket money. Their hope is to become adults who will be able to do for others what the TriAdventure has done for them. 

Of the original 52, there are 27 remaining, most in post-secondary school. The graduates are working in NGOs and community organizations, running a community health clinic, working as electricians, hairdressers, mechanics, supply chain managers, IT support and running small businesses.
