Moving for a Movement

A night of movement to raise money for Water First... An NGO that is working to ensure ALL communities have safe drinking water! 40% of indigenous communities in Ontario remain under boiled water advisories. Can you imagine having to teach your children to boil water or purchase bottled water just to be able to brush their teeth, cook or have a drink? This is a life lesson that should not be happening. Come join coaches Lana and Lyn as we move our bodies and raise money for Water First. 

Many communities have identified the need for certified personnel to operate and maintain their drinking water treatment systems. Water First is Canada’s leading charitable organization dedicated to working together with Indigenous communities to build capacity locally – collaborating to resolve both drinking water and environmental water concerns. Since 2009, Water First has partnered with 50 Indigenous communities in Canada on a variety of water education and training projects.

Through education, training, and meaningful collaboration, Water First is supporting sustainable water systems to last generations. Join me in supporting Water First’s mission to address drinking water challenges in Indigenous community by donating and joining us!
