Light the Way for Self-Advocacy

For almost 30 years, the Disability Action Hall has been a safe and inclusive space for Albertans with disabilities to meet, support one another, and discuss creating a better world for all Albertans. Our vision of a better world is one where communities are more accessible for everyone, and we welcome all who share this vision. 

Now more than ever, we need to continue to be a place for the community to gather. We must actively engage with our community, build strength and unity, and share our pride with the community. By discussing issues that matter to us, we can share our learnings and the wisdom of our community members with those who can use this information to make positive changes. 

The Disability Action Hall is a place where the knowledge and experiences of people with disabilities are valued and shared with vast swaths of the community, including students, service providers, governments, and many more elements of our society. We directly touch the lives of thousands and indirectly the lives of hundreds of thousands in Alberta and worldwide, inspiring hope and positive change.
