This season the Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL), is aiming to do more than just play Hockey—we’re coming together to make a meaningful impact off the ice by supporting local charities. Hockey brings communities together, teaches valuable life skills, and makes a difference in the lives of young athletes.

The JPHL’s Langley Hockey Academy 15U team will be learning the value of giving back to the community by raising money for The Children’s Cottage. The Children's Cottage Society is a Crisis Nursery and Respite Service helping vulnerable children and their families. The Cottage started as a Crisis Nursery 24 years ago and now offers 3 other programs to strengthen families and reduce the risk of abuse and neglect to children. Our programs include a 24 hour/7 day per week Crisis nursery for 0-8 year olds for up to 72 hours, plus Community Respite Programs and in-home education and support programs.
