Kristi Johnston - Dream Team 2015

Kristi Johston is participating in the 2015 Dream Mountains Everest Base Camp trek, in support of CARE Canada.

It is both an honour and privilege for me to be able to trek with the Dream Mountains Foundation while at the same time taking steps to increase the awareness of a worthwhile and influential organization, Care Canada.  What’s unique about CARE (www.care.ca) is that they focus on the empowerment of women and girls to influence lasting change in their communities. My focus this year is on a specific project in Ethiopia that aims to improve Maternal and Newborn Health. Your support and recognition of our collective team effort to trek to Everest Base Camp and help local as well as international communities in need is greatly appreciated!
