HER stands for Healing, Empowerment, Refuge. Its vision is to build a new first of its kind anti-violence against women centre.
Laural recently met the Executive Director and Campaign Director of the North York Women's Shelter, just as we were looking at a way to give back through our Great Greeting™ Send-off. The innovative thinking behind this ground-breaking new facility appeals to Laural.
The new shelter is currently under construction, slated to re-open September 2019. Unique features include healing therapy spaces, adjoining rooms for extended family members like mothers and mother-in-laws as well as accommodation for pets!
