Visits to food banks in Ontario increased 10% last year. Over half a million individuals and families experiencing food insecurity rely on food banks to get the help they need. "Your donation will help send nutritious food to more than 1,200 hunger-relief organizations across the province, on an equitable basis, throughout the year. Your generosity also provides food banks with resources and training to build capacity and better serve their communities, and supports Ontario's food bank network to develop lasting solutions to hunger in partnership with government, industry, and local communities.
For every $1 you donate, 95 cents goes directly to programs and services, and 5 cents helps Feed Ontario ensure our efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability through fundraising and administration.”
